Micro-fine diabase rock flour for plant care, foliar fertilization and natural pest control. Thanks to the extremely fine 0–20 µm fraction, the flour mixes easily in water and can be sprayed directly onto plant leaves.

Diabase very fine 0-20 μm rock flour

-is a pure natural product from volcanic rock without artificial additives. Through leaf pores it supplies plants with important minerals and nutritious micronutrients. It not only fertilizes leaves, but also eliminates pests.

-produced using modern milling equipment and advanced technology, specifically developed for optimal spraying. They can be used effectively both in organic and conventional agriculture as well as horticulture.

-supplies plants and soil with calcium, magnesium, iron and many trace elements. In addition, it has no negative impact on soil biology. The mineralogical composition ensures good availability of chemical components. For example, plants absorb silicic acid almost completely because in this product it is present in the composition of other minerals rather than in the form of quartz that is resistant to atmospheric effects. The diverse composition accelerates chlorophyll formation, strengthens plant resistance and growth.

Use

Recommended dosage:

25 g flour / 1 l lukewarm water

Mix well and spray plants evenly.

If there is a higher risk of pests or fungal damage, the concentration can be increased according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. For best results, it is recommended to treat plants repeatedly.

With Diabase very fine 0-20 μm rock flour

-work only outdoors and with suitable respiratory protection; avoid inhaling it.

Extra-fine 0–20 µm fraction

Fine diabase particles disperse well in water and are suitable for spraying. This allows mineral substances to be applied directly onto the surface of plant leaves. Due to their fraction, it is necessary to pour from the container directly into the water or under water, mix, and then spray or water. They do not leave any residues in the sprayer. 

When to use?

Best used during the growing season, especially before flowering and after flowering. The product can be used for vegetables, fruit trees, berry bushes, potatoes, root crops, cereals, ornamental plants and other crops.

Chemical composition of diabase rock flour

Main components: SiO2 – 37.5 %, Al2O3 – 12.7 %, TiO2 – 2.9 %, CaO – 13.9 %, MgO – 4.7 %, Na2O – 2.3 %, K2O – 1.5 %, Fe2O3 – 12.1 %, P2O5 – 0.5 %, SO3 – 0.3 %, CO2 – 9.8 %.

Trace elements: zinc – 133 mg/kg, manganese – 1178 mg/kg, molybdenum – 1 mg/kg, copper – 44 mg/kg, nickel – 69 mg/kg, cobalt – 40 mg/kg, boron – 4 mg/kg, selenium – 0.04 mg/kg.  

Organic pest control

If your plants are attacked by pests, you can use finely dispersed diabase flour for natural pest control. This ultra-fine rock flour works purely physically, without chemicals, against pests such as aphids, powdery mildew and other insect pests. Sharp particles damage the insects’ chitinous exoskeleton and dehydrate them. Sprayed rock dust adheres particularly well to plants and can also be used on the undersides of leaves. At the same time, the plant-available silicon it contains strengthens leaf tissues and increases plant resistance to sap-sucking insects. In case of heavy infestation, repeated use is recommended. 

Protection against fungi and rot

Plant-available silicon contained in finely dispersed diabase flour strengthens your plants’ leaves and increases their resistance to external influences. This creates a more challenging environment for fungal spores and rot pathogens to spread throughout the plant. In the case of particularly sensitive plants, finely dispersed rock dust can help prevent fungal infections such as powdery mildew or control existing infestations. 

Foliar fertilization for rapid nutrient uptake.

Finely ground diabase flour is mainly used as a foliar fertilizer to supply plants with minerals in a targeted and rapid way. Due to the ultra-fine grinding, the nutrients it contains can be absorbed directly through leaf pores and quickly taken up by the plant. Rock flour contains many minerals and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, silicon and iron, as well as sulfur, boron, copper, manganese and zinc. These minerals promote growth, strengthen plant structure and ensure healthy, bright green foliage.

The silicon dioxide in the composition is almost completely biologically available to plants because it is present not as weather-resistant quartz but in the form of silicates. Therefore, finely ground diabase flour is especially effective in promoting plant growth! Ultra-fine grinding further improves plant uptake and speeds up its effect. It also reveals its enormous potential in the soil. There, it is highly reactive and penetrates exceptionally well to the roots.
