Cortiflex: PreFlex primer
Primer for biomechanical wood coating CORTIFLEX®.
For highly absorbent, porous bark surfaces, PreFlex® primer should be used before applying CORTIFLEX®. Without primer, the binder will be sucked out of the CORTIFLEX® trunk protection paint. In addition, the primer binds the remaining loose bark flakes and makes painting with CORTIFLEX® trunk protection paint much easier. Without primer, the durability of CORTIFLEX® is significantly reduced.
- Delivery units: 1l and 5l canister
- PreFlex primer consumption: up to approximately 20% of the required amount of CORTIFLEX® protective paint.
- Shake well before use.
- Apply the primer, for example with an ARBO-FLEX angled brush.
- However, if the bark is rough and flaky, PreFlex primer should be used. Tree species with smooth bark do not need primer.
- Yellow color
