Glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is a material made of plastic and glass fibre, i.e. a fibre-plastic composite. It consists of glass fibre and epoxy, vinyl ester or polyester resin. The resin determines the shape of the final product and makes it fire-resistant. Glass fibre provides high strength.
