BaleGuard® 140 g/m² set is a practical solution for protecting hay, straw bales and bales when stored outdoors. The set includes a 10.4 × 25 m protective cover, 16 pcs. Lichtenstein 25 × 100 cm bag covers for pressing and a FixTex 5 cm × 25 m fastening tape. The cover helps protect the crop from rain, wind and UV rays, while the breathable material allows moisture to escape.

The BaleGuard® kit is a professional solution for protecting hay, straw bales, bales and grain when stored outdoors.
The breathable, water-repellent, polypropylene nonwoven BaleGuard® material helps protect crops from rain, wind, UV rays and dirt, while allowing moisture to escape from the inside. Its water-repellent properties and UV stability make it suitable for long-term outdoor use.
The included Lichtenstein bags are used to press the edges of the cover and keep it stable, especially in windy weather. The FixTex fastening tape helps to securely fasten the cover, connect or additionally secure individual areas of the cover. This allows you to prepare the bales or bundles for outdoor storage faster, tidier and safer.
This kit is a practical choice for farms that want to reduce the need for indoor storage, protect feed and crops from adverse weather conditions, and maintain better quality of hay, straw or grain during storage.

For best results, it is recommended to stack bales or bundles correctly so that rainwater can easily run off the surface of the cover. The BaleGuard® cover should be well tensioned, the edges should be pressed down with filled Lichtenstein bags, and for additional stability, FixTex fastening tape should be used.
Proper tension and reliable attachment of the coating helps reduce its movement from the wind, prevents water from accumulating on the surface, and extends the service life of the coating.
Important
BaleGuard® is not a regular plastic tarpaulin, nor is it a completely airtight covering. It is a breathable, water-repellent protective material that helps water run off the surface and allows moisture to escape from the inside.
To achieve the best protection result, it is important to stack the rolls stably, tension the coating properly, secure it securely with Lichtenstein bags and additionally secure it with FixTex tape.
