  • Complete set of pheromones and traps for the European grapevine moth

Natural plant protection for home and garden.
Pheromone traps are ideal for reducing the number of harmful moths and beetles in your crops.

    Pest biology:

    Pest: European grapevine moth
    Latin name: Lobesia botrana
Occurs: on grapes, polyphagous – also on other host plants

    Set includes:

    - 1 trap body (WitaTrap® Delta Super trap),
    - 2 sticky inserts (packed separately!),
    - 2 pheromone lures (packed separately!),
    - 1 hanging wire for assembly and
    - detailed instructions. description.

    Main symptoms:

    • Larvae spin flowers and fruit heads into clumps.
    • Berry and webbing damage on affected grapes
    • Sour rot occurs in humid weather

Main flight period of the first generation: April/early May = hay worm.
Main flight period of the second generation: June/July = sour worm.
Main flight period of the third generation: from August = sweet worm.

    Application:

Depending on the area of use, assemble the trap and attach it with the included wire. (Exact assembly instructions and area of use are described in detail for each pheromone trap.) To prevent the pest from being attracted directly to the protected plants, the traps should be hung, for example, on another nearby tree. If this is not possible, the traps can be attached to a stake. Hang the traps between the prevailing wind direction and at eye level in the tree. The trap entrances should not be blocked by branches or leaves. Each trap must be checked every 2–3 days. Each time you check the trap, to preserve the entire adhesive surface, the stuck insert should be cleaned of adhered insects using an auxiliary tool (e.g., a twig, a wooden spatula).

SGaudykles must be hung before the moths start flying.
