Repellent WAM ® EXTRA is an extremely effective and economical protection against roe deer, red deer and chamois wintering in coniferous and deciduous forests.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
WAM ® EXTRA – repellent. Intended for professional use in forestry. A fully ready-to-use paste that protects deciduous and coniferous plantations from damage caused by ungulates during the winter. The effect of WAM®EXTRA is based on a triple effect: color, taste and roughness. Ungulates do not get used to the repellent even after using it for several years.
Usage:
WAM® EXTRA is a reddish-pink paste intended for the protection of deciduous and coniferous trees during the vegetative dormancy period from the predation of ungulates. The effectiveness of the protection is based on the mechanical protective substances contained in the product, therefore, the possibility of animals getting used to the preparation is excluded. Since the product is tightly packed in buckets, the uniform consistency of WAM® EXTRA is guaranteed. WAM®EXTRA is fully ready to use. Using rubber gloves, apply WAM® EXTRA thickly to the parts of the plant vulnerable to wild animals - the apical shoot. Cover the part of the plant you want to protect with your hand, applying thickly from the bottom up. For coniferous trees, the product is usually used only on the apical shoot, the main thing is that the apical buds are fully covered.
Usage rate:
If WAM EXTRA is used for application on trees with gloves, the application rate is: 3.0 - 4.0 kg/1000 trees.
If used for application to trees with a brush, the application rate is 2.5 - 3.5 kg/1000 trees.
The repellent cannot be diluted with water.Usage time:
WAM® EXTRA should be applied in the fall, after the current year's vegetation has ended, the temperature must be above 00C, the plant must be dry (dew moisture is not a problem). When it starts to rain, the WAM® EXTRA layer must be completely dry.
Safety measures:
When handling the product and touching surfaces contaminated with it, it is recommended to wear chemical-resistant gloves (compliant with standard EN 374), e.g. nitrile, neoprene (≥ 0.5 mm) or similar. For eye protection, it is recommended to use safety glasses or a face shield (compliant with standard EN 166). It is recommended to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers and closed-toe shoes.
It is recommended that workers wear gloves, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and closed-toe shoes when entering areas treated with repellent.
Hygiene measures. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. Avoid any contact with the product. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Remove clothing after work or before breaks and wash with soap and water. Keep work clothes separate. Wash contaminated clothing before re-wearing. If the surface of the gloves becomes soiled, they must be washed thoroughly. If it is not possible to clean personal protective equipment, it must be disposed of in accordance with applicable legal requirements.Plant compatibility:
WAM® EXTRA rose red is very well tolerated by all tree species. Once dry, the weatherproof coating remains porous and breathable, allowing buds to swell and sprout without hindrance.
